For Healthcare Organizations and Providers
I work with organizations to create pathways that lead to the delivery of person-centered care. I provide education and skill development for staff and providers to promote better communication about goals of care during serious illness or at end of life.

What I Don’t Do
I am not a nurse or care manager. I won’t be going to the doctor or hospital with you. In my role as a physician consultant and advisor, I will not be providing treatments or medication for dementia, serious illness or end of life care. I will help you understand and communicate with family and providers. I will educate you about your options and help you to document your wishes.
Dr. Duncan was of great assistance to our family over a several-year period as we dealt with quality of life issues with an aging relative. She is highly competent in medical, psychological and social work issues, as well as a very caring person. We developed a high level of trust, which in turn was very useful as the situation became more acute, and important decisions had to be made. Dr. Duncan was available 24/7 during these times. We highly recommend her services.
